Many people should see that abusing an animal is a cruel and unjust thing to do so in this post i am going to tell you how you can help an animal that was previously abused by their owner before they were taking to an animal shelter.
We can help this animals by taking just one simple step but we need to make sure we are making the right decision. Adopting an animal that was once abused is a great decision to make because you can show to the animal that he can a great life instead of constantly being abused and beaten. It also is good to do because you are saving that animal and helping him out by just adopting them and being nice to them you show them something they have never seen before.
Another thing we can do to stop animal abuse is if we ever see animal abuse we can reprot it the police, an animal shelter, or a trusted adult so we can save the animal for being abused by his owner. Doing this will help the animal out because once he is taken away from his owner he will get the proper treatment he needs to be helped from being abused.
So next time you see an animal in a shelter looking for a new home where he will be treated the way he is supposed to be or you see an animal being abused help the animal out and do the right thing by adopting the animal in the shelter and report the animal being abused to an animal shelter or the police.

I'd like to see more information on pet adoption and even stats on what percentage of abused animals actually get adopted. Are abused animals sometimes not "adoptable" because the new owner does not think the animal will be healthy enough or that the animal might be prone to violence because of neglect? Why do people hesitate to adopt these animals and what can we do to assist people in this decision. You haven't cited any resources or credible sites in this post, and you really need to.
